Ian, I need you to fix this article up with images and formatting, please. It was one of the first articles we did I think and was not subject to our current standards.

The word count is debatable. I don't want to put a hard number on it. These should have enough context and include a header for the section to sell themselves as a service GC does. This is text-only, and no images or other media is needed.

You can use (/service/diagnostic) as a sample page to what we are looking for. I completed the text for this in about 30 to 40 minutes.

To do this, I Googled the service and looked at about seven other similar services and about five articles I could find about it, with the same outcome as the service being written. I then took all the context and put it into Grammarly (app.grammarly.com/). It was fixing all spelling and grammar issues using this tool. I used the setting below as a guide for Grammarly.

Finally, we want to offer a self-help area, so we need four topics for the article writer directly related to the service being done.

  • There is no fluff; these must be to the point and act as a sale funnel.
  • Word count should be what makes sense.
  • The deliverable will be an email with all items separated into headers and context space to copy-paste them.
  • GC has Diagnostic done already just need the other 26 don

Current GC position on Google: 28

Before going into the research, I wanted to analyze the keyword and see how it would rank if we were to start off now.
From the data I corrected, here is what I found out:

Parameter

Value

Keyword difficulty (KD)

44

Monthly search volume on Google

70

Backlinks

0-25

The KD shows how easy or difficult it is to rank and outrank the top SERPs.

The search volumes show how many people look up the KW on Google on a monthly basis. This is only a rough estimate; in many cases, it is three times higher. In our case, it can be 200+ searches per month.

Backlinks show how many external links go back to the website pages. They are votes to show Google the importance of a page. The more, the better. It's a very crucial ranking factor.

I also wanted to analyze and collect data from Google's top ten ranking pages. Here is what I got:

Average domain authority

44

Average page backlinks

17

URL/alias with the keyword

70%

Directories in the top 10

5 [50%]

Here are the top 10 pages on Google:

From the local SEO perspective, the following factors may affect how a page ranks on Google:

  • Keyword in the page URL/alias
  • Keyword in the topic
  • Keyword in the page content
  • Backlinks (Linking back to the page)
  • Domain authority
  • URL strength
  • Presence of related keywords
  • Google business profile
  • Social pages

What we need to do

Facts

It's evident that the top 10 pages have the keyword (or its alternative) in their URL, except for the directories, which might have ranked well because they have very high domain authority.

On the search page, there are results based on the Google business profile, and they appear at the top.

One of the top pages has 25 backlinks, and GC has only one. Some have zero.

The highest page (that is not a directory) has a DR of 39, and the lowest has a DR of 1.5.
GC has no page URL with the keyword "Computer Repair Topeka KS"  in it. It only has information in the about us section.

Suggestions

1. Have a page with the keyword in the URL, and in the page content. It can be a service article or service page. [priority]

2. Increase our domain rate/authority to beat our competitors. This can be done through guest posting. We can get this service from cheap SEO freelancers like on Fiverr, and search for ‘guest post with high DA'. [priority]

3. Use related keywords in the page content. Some of the related KWs include:

4. Create a Google business profile. Include all details like location, website, contacts, etc.

5. Create social profiles like Facebook, etc. There are pages that rank above GC with just a Facebook page, as shown in this SS.
